NBC News talked internet privacy with Rich Stokes. Stokes appeared on Tech Trends with reporter Charlie Wojciechowski to discuss the Winston device he developed at mHub, the Chicago innovation center where Winston is based.
In the video, Stokes discusses how companies snoop and spy on everything we do online. The Winston device is designed to take these "bad guys" off your home network and out of your data. He further explains how Winston can actually save you money on hotel and travel bookings, by breaking commonly-used algorithms that adjust prices based on your data profile.
The device works with all streaming, IoT, and gaming networks with an easy plug-and-play setup.
