Winston Privacy announced today that it has been named a CES® 2020 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Cybersecurity & Personal Privacy category for its innovative privacy solution.
By recognizing Winston Privacy with this prestigious award, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) reaffirmed the importance of providing comprehensive privacy solutions to the everyday consumer. The CES Innovation Award will be proudly displayed at Winstons CES Booth (#50330) between January 7 – 10, 2020 in Eureka Park.
“We have come to accept that our every move is being tracked and used to manipulate what we read, what we buy, how we vote, and how we see the world. By using ‘smart’ devices, we have become the product. I didn’t agree to that, and I bet you didn’t either,” said Winston Founder & CEO Rich Stokes. “The CES award represents an outstanding step in the right direction for Winston and data privacy protection.”
Winston’s merits were evaluated by a panel of judges, including designers, engineers and members of the tech media based on design, functionality, consumer appeal, engineering and how its solutions compare with the competition. The award winners were announced during CES Unveiled New York, an invitation-only tech event bringing together top media, exhibitors and industry leaders for a sneak peek at the products and trends expected at CES 2020.
“The CES Innovation Award is proof that Winston is leading the way in taking control of your online privacy,” said Richard Stokes. “At Winston, we believe you have the right to live your life without being watched, packaged, and sold. We believe you should be allowed to go through your daily routines without giving up a staggering amount of personal information. Comprehensive privacy is not only possible, it is realistic with Winston.”
